WhatsApp Payment is still fighting for entering the Payments System. Meanwhile, there have been objections from different corners for permitting WhatsApp entry into the payment system, since it violates regulatory norms and that they should comply with all regulations before launch of its payment Gateway.
Here is an interesting article which prompts the Apex Court calling for explanation from various bodies, about their response on the issue and as to why WhatsApp should not be punished for breaches and violations of regulatory guidelines.
