Public Sector Banks Recover USD 8.69 billion of Bad Loans
During the period April to September this year the Public Sector Banks have recovered Bad Loans to the tune of USD 8.69 billion.
- This amount in Indian Rupees was Rs. 60,730 crore of outstanding bad loans.
- The Government proposed to provide funds to 3-5 banks under a prompt corrective action, which is decided after taking into account their financial results.
- The banks have raised Rs. 24,440 crore from the market this Fiscal Year.
