HDFC Bank plans to issue fresh credit cards

• RBI had banned HDFC Bank from issuing fresh Credit cards on December 3^rd last year and introducing new digital products after several people reported technical glitches in the past two years.
• However, the ban was lifted on 17^th August 2021 which has boosted the bank’s confidence.
• The bank has now readies to issue fresh credit cards which shall be to the tune of half a million cards per month by February 2022.
